Things got off to a smoky start on Friday, with poor air quality forcing the cancellation of practice for the day. But in true NW Cup fashion, the community adapted and stayed positive. By Saturday morning, the smoke had cleared, and riders were treated to blue skies, cooler temps, and a full day of practice. Thanks to the event’s private high-speed quad, everyone still managed to get more than enough laps in, despite the delayed start.

This time, the crew rolled into Snoqualmie Pass Bike Park — and once again, the venue delivered a weekend full of great racing, great people, and some truly unforgettable runs.

Now in its second year hosting the NW Cup, Snoqualmie Pass continues to raise the bar. With dedicated tracks for Cat 3, Cat 2, and Cat 1/Pro, plus fresh reroutes for two of them, this wasn’t just a repeat of last year — it was a whole new challenge.

Set high in the mountains, Silver’s fast and technical track never disappoints. With tight corners, loose terrain, and just the right amount of tech, the racing was as close and competitive as it gets. One of the best parts of racing here? Two lifts. That means plenty of laps, more time on the bike, and a chance to really dial things in before finals.

After an exciting weekend of racing in Tamarack, Idaho, the NW Cup caravan rolled north and landed in Whitefish, Montana, where racers were greeted with open arms, a race-specific lift line, and a DH course that delivered in every way. From start to finish, the weekend brought fantastic weather, dialed trails, and that unmistakable NW Cup community energy.

The legendary NW Cup summer swing through Tamarack, ID and Whitefish, MT has officially kicked off — and what a way to start at Tamarack Resort in Donnelly, Idaho!

It’s May, and that means one thing: we’re back at the heart of the NW Cup—Dry Hill Bike Park in Port Angeles, Washington. Once again, this iconic venue brought together everything we love about downhill racing: tight competition, unbeatable community vibes, and 540 racers sharing the hill for an unforgettable weekend.

After what always seems like an insanely long winter season, we are glad to say that WE'RE BACK racing DH in the PNW! And oh boy did Mother Nature welcome us with open arms.

100 Races. This past weekend marked 100 NW Cup races for Scott and Casey, and in turn the final round of the 2024 season. On top of it there was no more fitting location than to have it at Dry Hill in Port Angeles, WA! It has been an amazing season, and the 450 riders at the finals prove that Dry Hill is the favorite place for our family to get together and have a blast.

26 years. That is how long it has been since there was a DH race at Snoqualmie pass. 1998, and Steve Peat won his first World Cup here. Now, the NW Cup has brough racing back to the pass, and wow was it some great racing!

August brought the NW Cup family to the Idaho town of Kellogg for round 5 of the NW Cup series. After a nice break following Whitefish and Tamarack, we headed into another back-to-back week of racing. First up with Silver and some exciting weather.

The end of June continued the NW Cup road trip in Whitefish, MT for the second of our back-to-back race weekends. Normally a dry and dusty venue, Mother Nature decided to gift us some rain mid week to make the dirt AMAZING for practice and seeding through Saturday.

June brings us to the first race of the NW Cup back-to-back races out in Idaho and Montana. This past weekend the amazing resort of Tamarack host the NW Cup family with gorgeous blue skies, warm weather, and fast, rocky trails.

While Poland took its fair share of round one talent overseas, a stacked cast took to the Northwest for perfect conditions at Dry Hill Bike Park. The second round of the NW Cup in Port Angeles delivered another solid weekend of downhill racing to remember with nearly 550 in the mix overall, and it was speed and style from top to bottom.

April 12-14th brought DH racing back to the PNW in always-sunny Port Angeles! Luckily the sun actually did decide to come out to play on Saturday and Sunday for our opening round and, as always, the NW Cup provided some amazing racing, great vibes and an awesome atmosphere. Partaking in the competition were 558 downhill racers ready to challenge the track and the clock!
