Race Report: 2025 Race 1 // Dry Hill

After what always seems like an insanely long winter season, we are glad to say that WE'RE BACK racing DH in the PNW!

And oh boy did Mother Nature welcome us with open arms. Always sunny Port Angeles delivered with clear sunny skies and mid-50s for Friday and Saturday, and then as if to prep all of our racers for life at the World Cup, she dripped some light sprinkles on Sunday. Just enough to make things at Dry Hill interesting and bring speeds down a little bit.

The trail builders got creative, completely redoing the lower section of the Cat 2 course, Cat1/Pro, and final turns for Cat 3, making it better for all riders, with new lines to puzzle and learn, while still enjoying some of the classic Dry Hill tracks.

It was another phenomenal season-opening weekend at Dry Hill with 550 of your closest riding buddies and rivals knocking out lap after lap. Seeing the NW Cup family together again always brings joy to our hearts, and we can't wait for Round 2 in May! Now onto what everyone wants... to see if they made the writeup!
