The Extreme Sports Park. More info on this later, but it is a pretty laid back option. It is dry camping with just porta potties and a bike wash. It is a pretty fun spot as there are a lot of “us” there and this is where the Footdown festivities happen. Contact keliemorrison@gmail.com for more info.
There is also the Elwha Dam RV Park which is a favorite of participants and is a full service campground with showers and hook-ups if you want them. If you have crazy kids, you need to keep them under control a bit and respect the place. The people that own it are wonderful and love to support our races, and we'd like to keep it that way!

We will have two food vendors on-site:
Frugals - Hamburgers etc.
Southern Nibble - Original Southern inspired food.
Gypsy Java - Excellent Coffee
Weekend Announcements
On Thursday, April 17th, it is ESSENTIAL that no one drives onto Walkabout Way any earlier that 3:30 when the gate opens. This is because there are dump trucks using the roads and we cannot get in their way. They should be done by 3 but need to leave via Walkabout and would not be able to pass a line of rigs waiting to get in. They are being really awesome to work with and we want to keep it that way. They are even grading the road so you have a nice smooth ride up the hill. To reiterate, PLEASE DON'T COME TO THE GATE ANY EARLIER THAN 3:30.
Also, there is a lot of road construction going on in PA right now, so here's some local advice. 1. Don't speed through the construction zone on the East end of town, they are ticketing. and 2. Follow signs through town via the Truck Route or Highway 117. If you try to go up Lincoln street you will end up on a weird detour.
Lastly, remember to bring your Discover Pass to avoid the $110 parking fee.
Safe Travels and we'll see you soon.
