Race Report: 2024 Finals // Dry Hill
100 Races. This past weekend marked 100 NW Cup races for Scott and Casey, and in turn the final round of the 2024 season.
On top of it there was no more fitting location than to have it at Dry Hill in Port Angeles, WA! It has been an amazing season, and the 450 riders at the finals prove that Dry Hill is the favorite place for our family to get together and have a blast.
It is always sad when we get to the end of the season and know that there will be a big break until we see everyone again next year...but then we think back on the amazing season and all the smiles and fun that was had, the progression we have seen out of all of our racers, and the general joy at each race...and that is more than enough to carry us through the winter.
As always, racing was exceptionally tight, and with series standings on the line every position, tenth of a second, could mean a shake up in the overall for the end of the series. At the end of the day Aletha Ostgaard took the win on the day, but Julia Lofqvist Traum takes the season overall. In the Men's race, Carson Eiswald takes the win by less than a second, but Tobin Walker takes the overall on the season by just 1 point!
We can't wait for April and the 2025 NW Cup season to see you all again!
