Race Report: 2023 Race #6 (Finals) // Dry Hill
It is a bittersweet day for us here at the NW Cup. We had an AMAZING season of racing capped off by one of the tightest and best races ever. But it's the last race of the season, and we won't see our NW Cup family until next year! If only we could race all year long just to see our friends and family at these special times, especially at our always-sunny Dry Hill in Port Angeles.
Race Report: 2023 Race #5 // Silver Mountain
The beginning of August brought the NW Cup family to the always-popular Silver Mtn. Bike Park -- home of the longest gondola in North America.
Race Report: 2023 Race #4 // Whitefish
Back to back Weekends! July 1st and 2nd brought the NW Cup to Whitefish, MT for round 4 of the series. With back-to-back weekends many of the riders made the trip up from Tamarack with stops at Silver, Legacy bike park, or just enjoying the general trip and made it a great vacation for all. This led to another sold-out race at the amazing Whitefish Ski resort. A dedicated race lift by the resort led to amazing days and ALL the laps.
Race Report: 2023 Race #3 // Tamarack
June 24th and 25th brought the NW Cup family to Tamarack Resort in Idaho for the first stop in back-to-back racing. Tamarack treated us to gorgeous weather for the whole weekend which led to great racing. Some of the rockiest trails of the season tested all of the riders' skills, from Pro to Cat 2, and even some of the best turns for the Cat 3 racers.
Race Report: 2023 Race #2 // Port angeles
May 13th and 14th brought the NW Cup back to always sunny Port Angeles, WA and this weekend didn't disappoint with the weather. Mid 70s and sun all weekend was a drastic difference from the rain during round 1. With more than 500 riders again, great weather, great vibes, and the infamous Dry Hill there were smiles everywhere.
Race Report: 2023 Race #1 // Port angeles
It's the start of April and in the PNW that means there's light outside after a long day of work. It also means the start of the NW Cup race season! Mountain bike racers have been itching to compete since our finals in Port Angeles back in September, and the season opener did not disappoint. Over the winter NW Cup's very own Scott Tucker, with help from Luke Strobel and Matt Orlando, set out to give our racers a fresh-cut experience out at Dry Hill.
