If you are planning on purchasing an annual USA Cycling license, please do it via this link. If you are racing a category that requires one, and you don’t have one at the time of registration, there will be a small, yet to be determined service charge. Click HERE and try to order it asap. Print and keep your receipt, and bring it with you to registration if you don’t receive your hard copy prior to racing. This is a big help to us, it will make your life easier, and save you a few bucks.

If I raced cat 2 last year and won two got second overall can I just register for cat 1 or do I need to do some sort of petition?
I would refer to the USA Cycling website for the rules on that. I think you can go up, but not positive.
That should get you up into Cat 1 no problem. Its all covered in the site, not the easiest site to navigate but folks are very helpful via email etc.
